Another shotgun reload question
Is it possible to buy shotgun slugs for reloading or must you cast them yourself?

Re: Another shotgun reload question
Is this the cup type(the name escape me now) as opposed to the solid (not hollow) Brenke slugs?
The brenkes are 500gr, 1 once (437gr) is good.

Re: Another shotgun reload question
Hi KK you obviously in the know I have read conficting reports with regard to the poor accuracy of the LEE slugs have you experianced this yourself and do you have any "workarrounds" to provide better accuracy?
Also out of the lyman and Lee which would you consider better and at what?

Re: Another shotgun reload question
the lee key driver slugs are actually sabots ie and work very well throgh my PA and semi.
the lyman that i chose is the one with microband that work extremely well but is more tedious to reload. i use roll crimp for the lyman.
i got fairly good accuracy out to 90 m and would have felt confident to use that for hunting.
the lee is more accurate and consistant and i regret not buying the light mould as well as the lighter slug apparently can be driven faster and is tighter grouping.
my offer was on a goodwill gesture of a few - i am not into selling etc so i can't offer you that quantity. its time consuming to cast and QC the alloy and the finished product etc and i just cant find the time anymore.live out your imagination , not your history.
