    Default lee enfield no.1 mk3 vs bsa no.1 mk3

can any one tell me wat is the difrence between the 2? I heard the bsa is better finished and that it did not see millitary use like the lee. Is this true?

The only difference is the BSA - and other- markings
In WWI parts from many different sources were assembled into these rifles. Subcontractors all over the Brittian fed factories that just assembled rifles from parts.

Yes. A clip plate is in place.  It's quite a problem to mount a scope low on these rifles.  And yes, the butt does not provide support at all.
My rifle is not so well looked after.  It stood in a cubboard for 30 years +  and the front end of the barrel is slightly pitted...  The only use for the old warhorse is only this (it's original use):  To shoot a bad guy point blanc happy0065
I don't know if I'm goiing to modify the old rifle.  Maybe it is better to just keep it in a original state.
But still, the sentimental value of this BSA is very important to me.
