    If you want to go heavier, 13.5 grains of S221 behind the 300gr Frontier gives me about 1100 fps and it's prolly a grain, grain and a half maybe from max.

    That's about the only data I have that might be relevant.

    This is all with CCI 300 and mixed cases. I don't think you need magnum primers and you can't use rifle primers, that only works for small primers.
    WRM , what was the batch number on the S221 that you used here.

    Cheers

    My tin sez 213, guess that's the batch number.

    I worked up the loads from USA loads for W571 / AA7 / Herco / Blue dot, started low, checked chrony.

    So seems that if you use a different batch you might need to add more powder.

    [QUOTE=Dardanos Porter;229921]Hey!!

    I would say that, Hunting load For .44 Mag is a lot to handle. A 12ga is child's play compared to a full powered .44mag with hog hunting loads. Beginners will VERY commonly develop a flinch from starting too early with such a heavy recoiling handgun like a .44mag.

    Thanks a lot again

    I agree
    I started with a 44 and have been for 2 years. When u shoot a 9mms it feels like playing play station.
    Imported 300gr and 405gr on their way. Any info on the load specs as only available data I've found is with U.S powders.
