    Default SAPS Forms

    Hi guys

Below is a link to a SAPS website page that contains all the SAPS forms that one might need regarding firearms. They are in pdf format so they are easy to print. This will keep the blood pressure in check when you get the " sorry but we have run out of those forms" md217 especially for those who have to travel far to get to their nearest cop shop.

ps I am not sure if I have posted this in the right category but I'm sure the mods will make that call

When I did the original post I forgot to add the website address for those who prefer completing the forms in Afrikaans, so here it is.

I am dusting off my old thread as I have just come to notice that the links I originally posted no longer work.

Below are the up to date links I found today.

This must be the thread with the most views (over 10,000) compared to replies ever (4 replies, counting mine as well).

Now, to contribute and not just spew useless facts, a free program such as Tracker Software's PDF XChange Viewer (available here: http://www.tracker-software.com/prod...xchange-viewer) allows you to place text boxes on existing PDF documents, allowing you to "edit" them. I use this to fill in my forms on my PC and only print them out to place signatures. It looks a lot neater and eliminates issues caused by bad handwriting (which I apparently suffer from).

I use PDF XChange Viewer on a daily basis (and have used it for a few years now) and it's my default PDF reader by now. Light, easy to use and without any useless Adobe updates every third day.

I use Adobe's built in 'Fill or sign' feature, with no hassles. :)
