Re: 300BLK reloading equipment
I've actually noticed a good few of the Yanks are purchasing the "handi" rifle in the 300 BLK. It's the single shot break neck that works just like the TC. TBH if it wasn't for the licence requirements, I'd have one.
What are the ballistics like out of the TC, WRM? I assume it's a fun gun to shoot.

Re: 300BLK reloading equipment
I'm converting it to a standing gun, very mellow to shoot.

Re: 300BLK reloading equipment
Silhouette. Four big bore events, being production unlimited standing and revolver. Production, unlimited and revolver you shoot from the most stable position you can get, which for most people is creedmore. Standing... you have to shoot standing.
You can of course shoot all four events with a revolver, but you'd never be competitive. Also you can shoot production and unlimited with the same gun, but unlimited allows you a longer barrel (which doesn't make a difference, except it gives you a longer sight radius, and that makes a difference).
For all of this you need to knock over the 20kg ram at 200m. You know what a 357 magnum does to a ram at 200m? Makes a sound like *plink*... so you need something with vooma.
Then there's field pistol, where the targets are smaller and closer. Also shot standing. But there 223 or even 22 Hornet or better 270 Ren is a viable cartridge.
And the reason a standing gun is different from a production gun is that the sights are closer to your face so the slot needs to be narrower. And you can move the sights up a bit to get your hand around the gun to hold it... silhouettes is fun :-)
