    We landed up buying a Gamo whisper from Southern Arms.

    Got a nice discount, so we decided to take it.

    Stock sights don't keep their zero very well, so my wife has since fitted a Gamo scope as well.

    She is very happy with it. Plenty accurate once zero'd to the shooting distance. She uses it for 'plinking', so is perfect for this purpose.

    All in all, spent about R2500 on the rifle with scope.

    Perfect ... it's about what you like, not what other people like. I have gone through quite a few and I'm selling again , but I'm like that. I've had some good service from Southern Arms too.
