Webley collectors, Please Help
Hi All.
I have a client who has a Webley .455 Mark VI revolver of possible WWI vintage and wants to sell it. It is the only firearm he has (received from his father) and wants to sell this so as to replace it with something he can use for SD and sport shooting.
Anyone know a collector that would be interested and what price could he expect if anything?
any assistance would be appreciated.

Re: Webley collectors, Please Help
From the small photo it looks like the MkVI service revolver. It was accepted into service in 1915.
It was some years since I last bought a Webley and can not help with a value as prices increased since. Contact Classic Arms and state the condition for a value.

Re: Webley collectors, Please Help
Hi Corrie, I have a Webley MK4 .38 revolver that was used in Rodesia those years by the BSAP. What would it be worth?

Re: Webley collectors, Please Help
The 38 mk4 is the most common Webley.
It was used in the SAP (with Union marks it will appeal to an collector of SA service weapons)
and in WW I and II. I paid for the same in very good War finish R500.
I do not know if there were any Rhodesian marks on the revolver, but if so there may be an ex-Rhodesian collecting arms of the area. I would not expect much for it and as always condition is the negative multiplier.
