Late XMAS Present-opinions wanted

Hi all,

I was given the knife below by 1 of my staff members who recently moved into a new house and found the knife while cleaning up.She contacted the previous owners who advised that it was not theirs.She decided to give me the knife as I am about the only person she knows who edc's knives.So-from what I have been able to research the knife seems to be a Gerber Ripstop 1 plain edge.Anyone have any experience with this particular blade?

Looks like a decent, EDC working knife. Not particularly designed with SD in mind, it seems.

+1-definitely not an SD knife but more of a handy utility knife for everyday chores.Knife is really lightweight and seems to be built solid for its dimensions.
