Default Best way to carry two guns?

    hi,

As some of you may know I am in the process of licensing a second Glock (occasional sport).

I am busy trying to figure out the best way to carry both my 19 and 17 when the situation and legality allows (many previous discussions on this, don't want to go on about that here)..

Practically, for those of you who carry two pistols, which has been the best method?

I carry my 19 in a strong side IWB holster, winter or summer. It is a Minotaur MTAC and I would not replace it for anything. At the range I wear the 19 in an OWB (Fobus G2).

I am considering getting a crossdraw holster for the 17, or perhaps carrying it in a fanny pack type setup. I can see a crossdraw being useful when driving, and possibly the fanny pack too.

Gizmo for your 2nd you really need to think of both weakhand and stronghand draw maybe a reverse cross draw (for your weakhand) if your body type can accomodate with your strong hand or maybe a weakhand conventional carry but slightly forward so you can access with your stronghand, I personally like a fanny pack but you gotta wear it not sling it over your shoulder. or a belly band

When I carry my 1911 to and from the range I carry it crossdraw with my 17 strongside.

    Now that's what I'm talking about! fighting0002

On a serious not Gizmo I have found the best way to carry two full size pistols is one on the strong side hip and the other crossdraw.

Are there any good fanny type bags available in SA or do you guys order them in? The TDI defense pack looks perfect, but is imported. http://www.tomarskabars.com/TDI-Defense_Pack.html

I carry my Browning appendix & my HS 40 in a Jumbo Versipack that I got from Swattie. Great bag carries very easy. I'll try & post a pic 1 of these days.
