    Default Armtec Synthetic Stocks

What are your opinions of Armtec stocks?
Has anybody bought one of these stocks and fitted it yourself, is it as simple as dropping in the action and tightening the screws?

I believe Armtec normally requests that you send the rifle(barreled action) to them for fitment.

On their website they say you can fit it yourself or send it to them and they do say that the rifle must be the same condition as when it left the factory ie no modifications.

I have on my .303 sporter, but a gunsmith did the fitting and bedding. Nice and light for long carry in the bush. What I like about it is low maintenance and don't scratch compared to a wooden or other synthetic type stocks. happy0065

    :)
I had an ARMTEC stock fitted by Chris and he does a wonderful job.
The stock is the same weight as a wooden one but a lot more durable. It is NOT plastic but fibreglss and so you cannot scratch the paint off.
You cannot go wrong with one and I would suggest you get them to fit it too - they really know what they are doing.
