Can one not report them to the Advertising Agency or similar board for product dissing which to the best of my knowledge is a strict no no in advertising / marketing if it is distressing.

Personally I find that dissing a product can often be the greatest form of advertising. Firstly it highlights your brand, secondly very few people look kindly on a salesperson who slags the competitor or his product, finally it proves that the competitor fears your product as they need to resort to unfair practice to position their brand ahead of yours. I would use this to my advantage in a media campaign, I would highlight the fact, how about the American Style advert, "NEA rifles - Slag Proof", or something to that effect. Perhaps some form of Nando's style advert. Use this to your advantage, go on the offensive in a positive manner.

AFAIK and to my Knoledge there's only 2 or 3 gun shops in Limpopo... But I might be wrong
