9mm Tracer ammo

So last night I watched a video on youtube where this guy was firing 9mm tracer ammo from his Glock. Do we get tracer ammo here in SA.? If so, who stocks them? Would they be legal in IDPA as I would look great at a night shoot, I'm sure.

Sure, I suppose. Might be tricky to find a range that will permit you to shoot them though.

Majority of the ranges that I shoot at does not allow for tracer ammo to be used. Don't think you will find it at your local gunshop either.

Damn, they don't have any.

I know of a few folk who load their last three rounds in each mag with tracers as a visual indicator that they are nearing the end of the mag and they can prepare to reload.
