i use this brand for my cycling and hiking and its truely an excellent product. the leak proof slider opening is brillaint and effective.
customer service direct from israel for replacement odds and ends was very impressive.

I would also like to know. I am busy trying to decide between the Source Assault and the Camelbak HAWG. I was set on the HAWG until I contacted Andre at MS Equipment on Friday and he suggested that I look at the Source. Now I am confused. Gonna have to make a turn there and try them out. In the meantime, if anybody has the info to do a comparison, I would be very interested.

i prefer source over the camel back hydration unit.
i like the bladder which opens up full and reduces crevices etc making flushing /rinsing a breeze.
the slide lock works easily and simple yet so effective.
i like the tube and mouth valve with the cap that keeps grime out.
one can use the camelback valve (DIY home conversion)
i like the free flow of fluid.

the bag itself is designed and built well.

    Thanks for this feedback, KK20.

I have been doing quite a bit of reading up on this and the idea is starting to grow on me. They also seem to have a few useful accessories for it such as the gadget to fill it through the tube. Think I will have to go and see it myself sometime and then decide.

I will post my decision here in a few weeks and, if I get the Source, will do a review.

i forgot to mention that the taste of water is unaffected by the material used. i am very sensitive to it and i pick up that tast in other brands. even with water thats carried around for days , its still fresh with not chemical /plastic/synthetic taste.
