I wouldn't worry, I had paid help with my motivation and it was approved. There is no law against having assistance with your motivation as long as the facts and details are true, your motivation isn't an English essay for high school.

EDIT: If it was an English essay you would only need above 30% to pass

What does one do when you can't get a hold of previous case numbers? I called my station, and they said they cannot help me . We had two break in's in two weeks last year December, can I even place that in the motivation without a case number?

Did you report it to your insurance company? They will have the number on record. If not, go dig through the books at the station where you reported it. Good luck with that though.

Urgh, we weren't insured at the time :( Lesson learned I guess, keep all case numbers, forever.

Will they even allow me to have a dig? They were rather unhelpful over the phone.

They'll probably be rather unhelpful when you appear there in person. I assume you meant December 2013? Pitch up, ask em for the numbers. Suggest that you're willing to have a dig for it yourself.

Yeah, 2013. If they won't assist me, do you think it will be detrimental to the application? As in, this and this happened to me, but I can't prove it.

Let me write out this motivation quickly and get everyone's view on it. Our area is just not safe, but I have no proof besides numbers in the crime stats.

That will be enough, not everyone has case numbers to submit and they get approved.

Crime stats were enough in my case, if you had case number it could only be to your advantage, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. Even if police respond in 1 minute, it would be 1 minute too late.

Let me know if there is too much filler in there guys, and what you would change. This is my first one, so I am not entirely sure as to what is 100% needed.

I must just thank everyone for their input on this thread, it has taught me a lot.
