Re: Tactical Marksman Course 25th March
Will never forget the 2 dogs f@#*ing analogy! Everytime I grip a gun I'll think of that!
That said, what an awesome training course...I think my shooting improved by about 1000%
Also realised that my unrealiable Star 30MI needs to go...will be taking advantage of the current Glock special at SA and get myself a G19! I'm glad I did this before I learned any bad habits
I can strongly recommend this course to anyone that want to see just how little they actually know, if I now look back I cant believe I handled, drew and held a gun the way I did

Re: Tactical Marksman Course 25th March
I'd hazard a guess here... but it could be because he spent more time clearing stoppages (failure to eject if I recall) than actually shooting the pistol.

Re: Tactical Marksman Course 25th March
Gunna is correct...I had multiple stopages until the gun was "warmed up"...no idea why it happens, but as soon as it has had some lead through it, it works perfectly...not ideal for SD
I'm planning to hand this gun in at SA in exchange for some additional equipment as I'm sure no one will be insterested in an old Star, it might just require some TLC...but its weight and difficult safety etc makes it unsuitable for SD in my opinion
