Temporary license - not section 21
My license was approved last week, I have a hunting trip coming up next week and the license card is unlikely to be ready for collection before then. According to the DFO at Brooklyn station it is possible to get a temp license, without submitting a s21 application by going to the CFR in Pretoria. Does anyone have any knowledge of this process?
Apparently measure exist to compensate for the delays in the printing process.
Any other advice will be appreciated.

Re: Temporary license - not section 21
your provincial office should be able to issue with a certificate saying your licence was issued ,waiting on printing and forwarding to your DFO. this certifcate is valid for 60 days.

Re: Temporary license - not section 21
I have done this with my 3 FA's. Contacted the Provincial office in Western Cape and told them i needed it for a club competition shoot - they faxed it through to me. They did mention that they are trying to stop it as it is taking them away from the applications they are supposed to be completing for FA's!

This, as far as I know is a Cape thing.
Cattle die, kindred die, every man is mortal:
But I know one thing that never dies,
the glory of the great dead.
