Re: Show me your Musgrave
Thx Rugerman, It's a muzzlebreak Nico @ Numenor made for me. It's soon to be replaced with one that is threaded in order to take supressor without having to remove the muzzle break first. Regards SvN

Re: Show me your Musgrave
Ja sure, will add it over the weekend or next week.
LOL - nothing hiding behind the brown envelope, black couches, so just wanted a solid lighter color for better contrast !

Re: Show me your Musgrave
Here's my workhorse IN 30.06 RSA, always true and always ready ! No mess no fuss and a gauranteed bakkie ride for the victim
And then the latest addition a .243 in Mod 80 SENTRAALWES. 1/73
The scope on the .243 is gonna be replaced as soon as I start using it. The guy who sold it to me for 2K never used it, thus the oldschool scope still the way they used it in the 90's ...

Re: Show me your Musgrave
Finally I can post here:
My Musgrave mod 98. Much confusion at first, because the gun shop where it was bought (2nd Hand) told me it is a mod 90, and it even says so in the stock, together with the rifle's serial number. Anyway, it cannot be, as it says mod98 on the barrel and the bolt is pure Mauser K98 - lookalike.
I had a quite some niggles with it, at first, mostly scope related. After much deliberation is was decided the chuck the old Tasco and replace with the current Rudolph H1. Ah, but then the bolt handle wouldn't clear the ocular bell... I refused to add higher scope mounts, and opted to have the bolt handle bent.
So off it went to ARMS, and they did the following: Bend bolt handle, jewel bolt, bed action, free float barrel, reinforce rear locking lug, recut the crown, boresighted the new scope and cleaned up the trigger.
Picked her up on Wednesday, and will see how she does this weekend! Some pics of the action:
