Suggestions for modifying .22 Hornet Brno Hunting rifle

My 11 year old son recently (and suddenly) found an interest in his dad's hunting practices. So I started taking him along on hunts. I have a .22 Hornet that I really want him to shoot with and would be ideal for him but the stock is still too long for him.

I was wondering if there would be a way to change the rifle without changing the stock. For example replacing the current stock with a stock that can be fit to size like the fancy .22 Olympic sporters.

Any suggestions?

Try and get any old stock that will give a better fit, even if you have to cut one shorter. The gun might look terrible for a few years as he grows into the old stock. Use and abuse the cheapy till he is big and strong enough for the old one.

You can also look at the Boyds stocks, ordered and shipped to SA should not be more than R1k and then you can cut if needed and keep the origneal stock in tact to refit later.
