Re: IPSC Tactical Discussions
As I approach the window from the given direction, the furthest target becomes visible, while the close target is still behind the barricade. Shoot them as they become visible.

Re: IPSC Tactical Discussions
Yip...
As mentioned in my first post guys, the word "tactical" should not be considered as per 'real world' scenario's ... but rather as tactics which are used in order to improve your time (speed) in the sport of IPSC.
I chose this exact example for a reason, since after reviewing my "cap cam" videio footage of a similar setup, my wife saw that I engaged the furthest target first, and was of the opinion that the closest target should have been engaged first (since in the 'real world' she figures the closest one would present the highest "risk"\danger.
I had to take some time to explain to her that it is a sport ...
So? Overall, we are saying that we shoot the furthest target first (shoot them as you see them) because it eliminates unneccessary movement, and is the quickest way of dealing with the scenario.

Re: IPSC Tactical Discussions
Next question.
Same picture as before, but a slightly different take.
One should NOT extend the firearm through the opening (ie: extend your arms and FA so that the same extends past\into the "window"), but the same should remain "this" side of the opening...
Any idea's why?

Re: IPSC Tactical Discussions
I never extend through openings in IPSC (are we even allowed to do that?). There might be someone hiding against the wall ready to take your gun.
