IPSC Training in KZN

Hi there, I'm just getting my feet wet with shooting in general and am keen on some basic training over weekends to get a solid foundation.

I've had alook through the BB and can't find a sticky or thread with details of locals with good experience that I could chat with - perhaps this could form a start?

Best bet, and easiest route. Contact an IPSC club, and attend one of their club shoots. Most clubs present some sort of training, although it is mostly safety orientated (understandably). The club guys will get you rolling.

The best actual training for IPSC is 'hands on'. Participating and watching\talking to\listening to other guys on the range.

Just take the plunge, and go for it.

Best bet is Colt or even Toti combat club. I'm a member of Toti and we shoot every saturday (weather permitting) there are lots of guys that will be willing to help give you with tips, tricks, and from the ground up shooting. We also do a standard exercise every saturday to keep those basic draw and fire technique up to scratch.
