Default Where is the Midrand DFO?

My Google is not strong today.

Also, any ideas of their business hours?

No probs. Good luck with the app, hope it comes thru quick.

The DFO's (W/O's Makwena and Ellis at Midrand) are very friendly and efficient. Just schedule at least 45 minutes to get everything sorted at the station (docs lodging, fingerprints etc.... Lots to do). Taking at least 2 hours off work (or more even) isn't a bad idea.

Just phone ahead before you go through, just to make sure Thayer are there (they will not start a
A new application process after 15:00 - because it does take a while as mentioned.)

Just an update on this for anyone wondering: Went yesterday to submit for my new shotty at around 2:30pm! W/O Makwena assisted and was very friendly and made the process quick and easy!! He did note that there is a current issue with printing though and the system was offline as always!!

    Hi All,

Apologies for resurrecting a very old post.

There seems to be a bit of a spelling mistake there. The DFO is Warrant Officer Makwela (not Makwena).

His people skills are excellent (even helped calm some fellow down as we did fingerprints - guy was sweating a lot, possibility just nervous) and he was very informative throughout the process.

I got the sms (receiving attention at the DFO) immediately as I left the office, after completing prints and payment.

Can't wait to get onto license application.
