You're both correct.

Jock was a bit of a cross, really. Mom was a Bull Terrier, dad was a Staffordshire Terrier.

On the advice of the interwebs I took the time to teach young Knersus how to swim. Staffies are apparently not natural swimmers due to them being so stocky and solid - they tend to sink, leading to many drownings.

Staffies are obsessive. They never give up. Nice video - I watched it twice. My Staffie sinks like a rock in water.
