Re: German Hunting Terrier
You're both correct.
Jock was a bit of a cross, really. Mom was a Bull Terrier, dad was a Staffordshire Terrier.
Not long into his career as a transport rider, one of Fitzpatrick's companion’s dogs had a litter of puppies. She was a well-respected bull terrier trail dog, though somewhat unattractive, and she had been covered by a pedigree Staffordshire Bull Terrier.Be ready for anything, and if his head is not at least two meters away from the body, do not 'assume' he is dead and out of the fight. - Ikor
You're both correct.
Jock was a bit of a cross, really. Mom was a Bull Terrier, dad was a Staffordshire Terrier]makes sense since I always thought that popular sketch/depiction of jock doesn't show him looking like a typical staffie. But definitely not only a bull terrier if you compare him to a typical varkhond.
