    Hi

Go to your local gun dealer and ask them to refer you to the best place for you to complete your competency exams. This consists of and academic and practical exam. Once you have successfully passed these exams you will get a certificate from them.

You then need this certificate along with other forms that you get from the local police station to to apply for your Legal Competency. This will entail a background check on you, if you have a prison record any record of domestic violence, alchohol abuse etc. The NFR will then sit on your application and decide if you are indeed fit to own a firearm. This process should take around 2 months (but you can never tell).

Only once you have your Legal Competency will the NFR look at any application for a firearm. This is another bunch of forms fingerprinting and motivations as to why you need what you want.

    Good luck.

Matchies, the nearest place to you is Centurion Indoor Shooting in Jean ave (behind the Moose pub). They do training and have a wide variety of second hand rifles. They will also order you any new rifle you want.
