Re: Lasarus Game Farm Albertinia
Richard - I have been there. I was after Bushbuck and Grysbok and the day I hunted there was a galeforce wind and we saw nothing. I did not visit the main game camp but it looked well stocked with plains game. Saw some nice Kudu and a good number of Eland too - plenty of other stuff as well. The accomodation is not luxury but it is fine and the food was good wholesome fare. The hosts were friendly yet business like. I am not too sure what the rates are but it is close enough to Stellenbosch to save you a bucket of money on travel costs. Hope this helps.

Re: Lasarus Game Farm Albertinia
Dear Dave,
Thanks for the response. After my move from Grahamstown I am having to build new hunting contacts in the Western Cape.
Regards,
Richard

HI
Friend of mine was there relatively recently for bwb.
He really enjoyed the hunt, and the managers were awesome people
He highly recommended it and we are planning to go as soon as budgets allow.
I dont think you will be dissapointed

Re: Lasarus Game Farm Albertinia
I just got back from Lasarus. I shot a black wildebeest and my wife shot a blesbok. The farm was well stocked and the owners are fantastic. My only compliant is that I had to leave.

Here's the Black Wildebeest Cow shot at about 200 meters with a 30-06, 165gr Nosler Patrition with 53gr S335.
Not massive trophy but great hunt.
