Re: Muron Primers
Nicyale
The price was great I bought 10 000 small pistol, now finished, I would buy American if the price were the same though, like Paul said they were problematic in Dillon sometimes, lived with it due to the economics.
In revolvers they did not work for me I prefer federal's there.

Probably early July unless the ship sinks. You'd be amazed at how many things can go wrong and cause delays. Winchester prices are good; small pistol primers were only abut R50 per 1000 more than Murom and we never had any complaints about them and never had to sell them off at close to cost.

I can't speak for anyone else, I never had to complain. If you bring them in again, I'll take some.
There was one issue I experienced, that the boxes stated large pistol , and inside were small pistol, with 9 boxes out of the 10 I had bought. I'll just check them when I buy again.
Other than that, ignition was flawless.

What we DID find with the Muroms was... they were HOT!
Added about 10% to the muzzle velocity vis a vis Magtech primers. Last year Lynette made the mistake of switching to Magtech just before the Africa Champs... failed chrono ;-{>}"Always remember to pillage before you burn"

Yup, that labelling issue was just another part of the annoyance. Imagine packing wholesale quantities and having to check every box before sending them out. Plus the incorrect labels were inconsistently incorrect. If the carton said large pistol there was no guessing what was inside. Plenty went out incorrectly labelled and invoiced before we noticed the problem (and, I suspect, after we noticed the problem too).

Re: Muron Primers
Didn't the Complaints Department in Moscow give you any joy?
NY: I'm calling to complain about your primers that we ordered.
Murom: Deed the order arrive?
NY: Yes.
Murom: Tank you fo callink. Av an ice day.
NY: No, you don't understand... they weren't marked correctly.
Murom: Led me see if I unnerstand... they were marked, correct?
NY: Yes
Murom: Tank you fo callink. Av an ice day.
