    Default Emerson CQC-8 Black Plain

I love knives, and own a collection of Global chef's knives that I'm pretty damn fond of. These wave system folding knives, and some of the fixed blades I've seen are brilliant, so after getting my SpiderCo, I now want more.

Anyway, I want to add another foldable, EDC wave system knife to my collection of 1 SpyderCo Endura 4 Grey Wave, and thought that I would go the very man who patented the design, Ernest R Emerson, in the form of his CQC-8 Black with a plain blade, no serrations. Anyone have one of these? Care to comment?

As an aside, I bought myself a Lansky 3 stone sharpening system today. My Endura didn't take an edge off of the system I use for my Global knives at all, and the nasty Gerber hand held I bought just sucks. So now to try something else.

Very nice knife imo. Just expensive. Probably wont be a probelm for you but the pocket clips aren't ambidextrous.
