I just want to give the guys at Southern Arms a HUGE thank you for their brilliant initiative!

They've got a Father's Day deal going on www.daddysdeals.co.za (similar concept as Groupon) where you can buy a voucher for R299 to go shoot a .38 Special, 9mm GLOCK, an AR and a 12ga Shotgun at their range.

It's a great way to have some fun AND it's a fantastic way to give the general public positive exposure to firearms!
The one guy I work with (who admitted he's never fired a gun in his life and always looked at us funny when we started talking firearms) was so excited when he saw the deal it took him all of 5 seconds to buy a voucher.

This week is the first time i have dealt with SA, I will definately be buying from them again.

I agree,great way to get some one interested,in a safe controlled environment. They had a similar initiative at huntex,I think that gave you a chance to try the hera arms triarii as well.

Yes, you could shoot a glock 19, 17 and the Glock 21 I think. Also a few shots through the triarri. Had a friend do it. SA is fast becoming many people's favourite gunshop. The service is just unreal!

When they bring out membership cards I am applying :-)
