Re: Reloading Dies - 44 Magnum
mostly LEE cos they were easier and readily available and simple to use and i never had reason to fault them.
i own a few other brand (hornady / rcbs / dillon )live out your imagination , not your history.

Re: Reloading Dies - 44 Magnum
RCBS carbide dies for me, really speeds things up without having to use case lube.

Re: Reloading Dies - 44 Magnum
Bandit, its like asking your favorite colour...
All of the "good" brands are GOOD and do a GOOD job. I have loaded close to 1000 rounds using lee dies, befor I got my carbide dies. Lee got the job done and didn't cost too much. Because I reload so much and cannot afford a progressive press, I chose to skip the lube cleaning part and go for the carbide dies. It sped things up allot.

Re: Reloading Dies - 44 Magnum
I use RCBS for 44 Mag (old type - non carbide).
I got them for a song and they work, just like my Lee/Hornady/Lyman dies. Lee far out represents everything else in my reloading room - I think that you have to go far to beat the value the brand represents.
