Default I Went To Dave Sheer

That rotten Gavin showed me a Glock 35 and it's a wonderful piece. Does anyone have an objection to it? (Hickok45 seems to like it)!

I'm saving up for one, will hopefully be able to buy next year. That is, if my wife doesn't find out first...

I'm leaning towards the 35. The idea of having a .40 S&W platform is strangely exhilarating. The main obstacle is the cost. However my slave boys whilst collecting 9mmP brass for me have managed to collect around 700 40 cases. My xl650 (when set up) will have no problem spewing out 40s. I will have to buy the 40 dies and a separate powder dispenser to avoid having to keep adjusting the powder amounts.

So based on the above, will it be 34 or 35? (let's just forget that I must have already spent about 25k on my obsession).

I have a 35, unless you are going to shoot IPSC Standard Major stick with the 34. You know what Big T says about the 9 vs 40 , so listen.

What does he say about the 9 vs 40?

"you may shoot a 40 better than I shoot a 9. But you will never shoot that 40 better than you shoot a nine."
Also easier to shoot SHO & WHO, kinder to the gun, more capacity and more economical.

I've already decided on the 34. I'm motivating now: I've done the usual:
    1) can't wear out my sd g19
    2) 9mmp is popular cheap
    3) DSG Shooting Club is affiliated with SAPSA which follows IPSC and 9mmp qualifies in all 4 handgun categories (I'm assuming the 34 is not disqualified from any category)

I've also gone through the details of my home security etc and plan to include copies of my ID, safe photo and S13 license as well as letter from DSG Sports Club.

    Am I missing anything?

    I am motivating under S15.

Should I also mention the benfits of same platform shooting:
    1) improve proficiency
    2) same equipment - reloading, holsters, ammo
