Chrony at league/champs

racingfreak; don't let me catch you shooting one brand of ammo and handing in a different brand for Chrono!

No Ross, I think you misunderstood. If my ammo fails chrony I will use my "backup" ammo for the entire shoot, thats why I have 200, seeing as no single day of any contest ever requires more than 200. Anyways, I love recoil, no intention of ever shooting sub-par ammo! I'll shoot +p+ permanently if budget was not a limiting factor

Sorry if it sounded like I was thinking of cheating. I definitely learned a lot about "The spirit of IDPA" this weekend on the SO course and it's quite sad to hear of some of the ways guys try and cheat...

This plan will work, provided the chrony is the first stage of your match.

The chrono is not done with your equipment check. It's set up as a regular stage. Your detail gets its turn as it rotates past the chrony stage.

So if your ammo doesn't make the grade you've already used it and it's too late to change over. :(

Aha, so its basically a stage you get to at some point of the shoot? Well, thats why I chronied to ensure I make 135k out of my g19. Doubt it will ever get close to the minimum with my current loads, that was the method I used before I chronied my rounds
