Truglo tfo sights any good?

Anybody here had a set of truglo tfo sights for a glock? We're they better or worse than the trijicon?

strange how the truglo tfo often has the best reviews but in SA trijicon does? is this not perhaps due to the dealers pushing trijicon?

No it depends on the source of your reviews.

TFOs offer a terrible sight picture. They have durability issues and the rear sight over powers the front sight. They seem popular with people who spend more time posting than shooting.

Evan-I have the TFO's on my Glock 19 and have to agree with T's comments above-I do however spend way more time shooting than posting!

Get the Trij HD's and be done with it.I also like the Heinie straight 8's and the Warren Tactical 2 lamp.If my tfo front sight wasnt loctite'd in I would have taken the sights off by now and replaced it with 1 of the choices mentioned above.

They do work in that they are visible day or night-the sight pic is manageable but there are better out there.I just hate the fact that the backsight overpowers the front as I am very much a front sight shooter.

I have the Warrens Tactical Tritium (uses Trijicon) and i am very happy, a good choice if you cannot find stock of HD. They were some been sold in the For Sale forum.
