Winchester 1200 or 1300?

Hi all. @#$ computer, lets try again

I am shopping for a used pump. I can get a 1200 or 1300 for +- the same price.
Haven't seen them but been told the 1300 is the "short barrel" with a mag tube same length as the barrel.

I want to use it mainly for 3 gun, but also HD and the odd bushpig or two.

1200 vs 1300 barrel length? choke(1200)? pimping? mag capacity and suitability?

What do you think about using a choked barrel for 3 gun?
Im thinking if I take the 1200 with longer? barrel and add an extension tube it may take more rounds for 3 gun than the 1300. ???

Either or really will make very little difference - you will be happy with either. Barrel length difference is minimal.
If for SADPA/IDPA you will be limited to 1 in the chamber and 5 in the tube so no advantage.
Are either of these guns barrels choked - I dont know?
There is a 1300 at Garbs for R2500.00 outside shows some wear - can have it recoated for R1000.00

Took the 1300.

Wikipedia says the 1300 is the newer model, but both very similar.

Now for the licensing wait....
