Re: Tactical stock for .22
Considering that its a .22,would some airsoft foldable stock,or surplus lm stock, etc work for you,or is more rails and stuff you're after?I assume you saw something somewhere that "inspired" this idea,so any pics on the net?

Have a look on Sniper's hide at some of the rimfires around there - crazy stuff I tell you. Schmidt Bender PMII scopes etc, Accuracy international AX chassis systems on .22???
However I can see the idea behind it - the idea is to get a practice rifle that is cheap to fire that is physically as close as possible to what you use for hunting or tactical purposes.
I would love to get a AICS type stock for my CZ 455 so my shooting technique that I practice on my .22 can be translated to my .260 and .338.

Acurised and suppressed as well, but looks above all...

Just an idea- why not chat to the folks at armtec stocks and see if they're able to put something together for you?

There is a photo of a brno rifle on their site that has been fitted with an aftermerket tactical stock
Visit Armtec.co.za
But be Warned: It is VERY expensive!!!! You can even consider a new .22 and sell the old one! But they do a really good job at Armtec and you can expect to pay (according to their site) R 6400!
My neighbour had his .300 win mag, ruger 10/22 and .270 fitted with new stocks as well and although expensive it looks and works great!
I am sending in my 30-06 to have the thumbhole varmint stock fitted!
Oh yes, Scuba steve, have you considered buyin a 1911 yet?
