Here is one that I am proud of, dressed out at 82kg, biggest ever for me, last year on the edge of a mealie field, shot with 7X57 175gn Hornady at about 80mts.Image011.jpg

Re: Pig and vermin hunting photos
82kg dressed weight seems a bit heavy to me Baboon Shooter. Was this skin, head, legs and internal organs removed? Or maybe a typo?
If so that would put live weight at around 141kg using 58% dress out rate.

Re: Pig and vermin hunting photos
We are carrying out a feral pig baiting program at work and free feeding using HogHoppers prior to going to the second stage of the program, this little fellow got stuck in the trap when the door released accidentaly. When the ranger went to check the feeder two things happened, the trap started to shake and a boar rushed out of the bush at her. She beat a hasty retreat to the vehicle and radioed me to come over and bring a rifle. The boar left before I got there so all I got was a photo of her releasing the piglet from the feeder.Hog Hopper 004.jpg
