good ammo for a 380acp

Hi all , I am still new to the FA scene , and was wondering what good ammo I can get for my cz 83 (carry rounds) as well as where I am able to get in jhb , thanks

My experience with my 380 is that it induces stoppages to try use hallows and some would believe that it is best to use good quality ball in a 380. If you could find some gold dots or something and they feed reliably then ok, further to that, stick to ball.

I Have an LCP - Magtech gardian Gold
or hornady Critical Defense live in its mags.

Ball ammo period. You need adequate penetration (read 12" or more) which you won't get with .380ACP JHP's, hence the ball recommendation.

I run 102gr Golden Sabers in my Mustang. Sadly 380acp is very tough to find. You could try Tac Shack? I know at one point they had the Hornady stuff.

i only use Hornady Critical Defense 90gr FTX in all my 380ACP pistols, and that includes a Sig P230, Walther PPK/S, Ruger LCP and two S&W Bodyguard 380 pistols. I like the round, and have fired a couple of boxes of this ammo, and i feel it is the best as far as i am concerned... Also it does not generate +P or +P+ pressures, this particular round, so it is safe to use in anything, +P, +P+ or no +P rated, good to go in all...
