2012 is rapidly running out of days and 2013 looms large!

As a thank you to our families for letting us have training time, we will be holding our year end shoot on Saturday 10/11/12 (Wow the numerologist are going to have a field day with this date.)

· Registration: 08h30
· Start: 09h00
Cost:
· Members WivesR50 & Kids u/12 R25.
· Guests R75 & Kids u/12 R50.
· PLEASE EMAIL confirmation of attendance to the email address below.

500 rounds of .22lr will be sponsored by S-a-s, there will be an assortment of .22lr rifles available including some semi-auto’s.

There will be a handgun & rifle competition with prizes for 1^st 2^nd & 3^rd.

Goodie bags for the first 15 ladies who register and party packets for kids u/16.

Tac shac will be displaying their guns & gears for those who desire a see, touch, feel experience.
S-a-s regulars will be Ro’ing to ensure that everybody is safe & has a great time.

Bushboy, Sean, Luke & Js4 will ably assist those ladies with long fringes. (Tough job, but someone has to do it!)

The primary purpose of the day is to have a great day at the range with our friends & family and emphasize the need to train safely & regularly.

It is also an opportunity to invite those unfortunate souls who have not experienced the gospel of the gun to in fact do so.

· There will be one or two demos by the regulars regarding self defence & use of firearms.
· Subject to land owner permission highlight of the day will be a raffle for a “Big Bang”. As the name suggests it will involve a pyrotechnic plume of sound, light & smoke triggered by a shot from a rifle by the lucky winner.
· This will be followed by a prize giving and bring & braai at the clubhouse. Fire & braai grids will be provided.

Shooting should end at about 13h00 for those who need to leave early.
The braai will finish once the last person leaves.

No alcohol to be consumed during the shooting as you might spill & cause a gun to rust. ;-) and it is also not the sensible thing to do.

Members are responsible for their guest. Everybody is responsible for their family.

What to bring:
· Chair
· Cool Drinks/water
· Sunscreen
· Hat
· Eye & ear protection ( I have 5 sets of Ear protection for loan)
· Food & drinks for the bring & braai.

There will be some handguns, shotguns & rifles available to be used (under owner supervision), so do not stress if you do not have a F/A.

A gazebo for shade will be set up at the 50m mark, ice & water will be available too.

I hope this day will be used to expose new folks to firearms and also an opportunity to spend time with our friends & family on the range.

I will be there along with my family and hopefully a couple of noobs who are looking to get into fire arms. Last year was fantastic and was even enjoyed by my wife who initially attented under duress but actually ended up having a blast
