Now that we've established exactly what is required for this thread and deonh had cleared his daily quota of @ss-biting, send the measurements in & I'll keep a running score in the first post.

    Cheers!

    Ok I'll go first
On the 7th of May I was looking for some impala and I walked into a nice 27" BWB Bull grn1
......wich I just couldn't let go........(bit out of the budget, cause I already shot a small BWB bull the previous day)
Later that afternoon I got my impala wich measured 19" small.....

Went hunting between Aberdeen & Jansenville last week. Friggin cold! I got 2 springbuck (not even worth mentioning) , and a Kudu cow (nice meat!) My son shot a Black Wildebeest bull with 28" horns after a nice stalk . Only felt the thorns afterwards.. ;D

    Well,
Just finished processing the Black Wildebeest. Weight of animal with head & skin: 105kgs. Carcass weight 77kgs after hanging in cool room for 4 days.
Got about 30kg wors, 7 kgs mince, and about 8 kg biltong. Rumps and sirloins are in the chest freezer. Fox terrier sitting in front of biltong cupboard like that pooch on the old record labels (His Masters' Voice)
Cutting up, deboning, cutting out sirloins & rumps ,slicing biltong, spicing, mincing the rest, mincing again & making sausage: from 09h00 to 15h00.
    Phew!
Gues what's on the braai tonight... hpy180

Nice. Youre lucky, my JRT's can open cupboards, windows, doors, the fridge and the oven including the warming drawer. No biltong is safe.
