Foxie belongs to my wife. I t was a case of love me, love my dog. Lets just say that he has some issues. But he understands the concept of a slow lingering death if he messes with my biltong..

I have just returned from Murraysburg where my 12 yr old son shot this 4 7/8 inch steenbuck ram! RW is 4,5 inches so it should make the book. He used a 222 from about 80 meters.

Dave, congratulations to your son on his excellent steenbok trophy. Steenbok of that size are pretty difficult to find.

Thanks Dimitri - he is 12 and it is his second Rowland Ward! He has now shot 17 buck - that is one hell of a ratio! It was a special moment as we had been looking for one for 2 years and he was only allowed to shoot one if it was a good representative specimen.

    Hi guys

Was hunting in Somerset East, shot a small S/Bok, a fallow deer a nice impala (will measure) and a duiker that is at the taxidermist and is being measured for SCI and RW, everyone seems to be happy with it, came accross it by chance... as we do ;)

Impala was only 18.5" so not too great, nice animal though...
