It is a very nice G type – not often seen in that condition. Though I think somebody has filled in the Fabrique Nationale d’Herstal with white paint! :-)

WZ, ah that is really special. Correct on the G you know your rifles. Fortunately not paint but chalk used by the gunshop to better show up the markings. I bought it unseen but for the photograps from City Guns several years back and still have the photographs (could not get the funds into their account fast enough when saw the condition) plus have just never got round to taking chalk out.Given the condition it is a bit of a safe queen.

I have a G too. Very similar except my furniture is greyer.

Im not a collector, my guns work so I replaced the oompah loompah stock with an R1 stock so I would stop scratching up shooting glasses on my rear sight.

Mine has a 1 - 4 on a DSA mount, and I will shortly be replacing the long browning style flash hider with a short belgian combo device.
