THIS THREAD P155ES ON MY BATTERY - BIG TIME!

Very nice rifles WZ, FNB and DylanM. They are really from an era when fighting weapons were "engineered" rather than just "produced"! While I have respect for AKs, I am always tickled that the AKs and the FALs are from a similar era, but yet seem to occupy opposite ends of the build quality continuum - sorry Mic, that was not intended to offend you in particular.

I like an AK too but right now, for a start, FN's are what gets my blood pumping! One day, one day.
You guys have some awesome rifles there! How many different FN's are there... Maybe I shouldn't ask. I want more!

I am not sure I would entirely agree with that statement. People often confuse quality with fit and finish or with the type of materials used. In a military context that is not necessarily the correct test. The AK-47 – in various guises – is a very durable piece of kit and will continue to operate under very adverse conditions. That in itself is a mark of quality.
