It feels 100 times better! With the stock grip after 100 rounds it starts feeling slippery and uncomfortable but now none of that. The undercut on the trigger guard also allows my hand to sit on the grip perfectly

My FN Hi Power(Israeli police surplus). It's a Type 73 with ring hammer, wood stocks, the later extended safety, and a MkII barrel, 1980 production. The frame has provision for mounting some sort of experimental Israeli dot sight for pistols (can't find much info about it, though). This is my carry pistol.





This is my FM Hi Power from Argentina. It's part of a cancelled contract for the Carabineros de Chile, number 3 of 3000. This is what I carried along with, occasionally a while back, my Colt M1908 Vest Pocket (which I never got back after my defensive shooting and sadly I have no pictures of it; it was a very nice example), before I got the FN above.

They are beauties bigstick61. A Hi Power has always been one of my bucket list guns. The finish on the Isreali one is interesting. Parkerized? Looks almost green in the photo.

Yes, Parkerized. I think it's just the lighting. It's a somewhat, but not especially, dark grey colour. Typical manganese phosphate finish. As delivered it would have had the black paint over Parkerizing like the Argie Hi Power shown. Not sure if the importer or the Israelis refinished it.
