JOHANNESBURG - A 24-year old Johannesburg metro police officer died in hospital after being shot during a hijacking in Jabulani, Soweto on Tuesday night.
The officer, who was off-duty, was shot four times.
He died on Wednesday morning in hospital.
The JMPD’s Wayne Minnaar said, “The officer was robbed of his private car, a blue Ford Focus, and his service firearm. No arrests have yet been made.”
