Default Worthwhile movie: End of watch

    End of watch.

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1855199/

Not a 'happy ending' guns blazing movie, just seemed like a decent cop movie.

    Worth it.

I thought it was one of the best movies I have seen. The drama is very powerful without being forced at all. Good action scenes.

I hate not getting a happy ending... think I'll be giving it a skip then.

I would not quite say corrupted so much as... led astray... slightly :D

Quite possibly the best cop movie ever filmed IMO. The interplay between partners and the street action is perfect...although even in east LA it ain't quite 'that' bad every day. East and South Central LA really are war zones now, and LAPD SWAT does, indeed, have more hands-on experience with entries and such than many military spec ops teams if they have not been heavily involved in AFG or IRQ lately...no, not against teams of heavy hitters, but more callouts and some that are very spooky.

But what I like most about it is that it shows...maybe for the first time...what real street cops do and illustrates how they are always the first line...always...and it does so without a single 'dirty cop' in the whole movie.
