airsoft fn fal rhodesian ra1

Hi guys so after a bit of work and part sourcing as well as paint and abuse my king arms fn fal ra1 is done. I am extreemly happy with my baby. I have attached a pic of before the camo paint abuse and after, used many of the other threads on fns from this forum and to all contributors many thanks are in order and much appreciated. So I wanted the really worn look and since the ra1 fns are over 40years old I felt that was the effect I wanted. Although I am happy I'd appreciate the comments, especially from the old boys who had the privledge to handle these pieces of art in the field. As I was born in zim I have seen a few and the variations are endless. So I fitted a few real steel parts......

Wood stock and back plate
R1 flash hider
R1 handguard
R1 cocking handle
R1 flip up grenade sight
Mod battery and a few internals

So I am happy with her and am anticipating all the "get rid of the carry handle and sling!!!!" And appreciatte the reasons behind these mods but I have seen a few without hese adaptions and also it is really simple to do in a few mins so not too worried about them. But again I'd really like your comments and hope you all had a rhodie xmas!!!

I had the Para version of the full size KA FAL. To this day I regret selling it.

Thanks a lot and tha would be a regret for me too, they are hard to come by and was what I wanted but had to settle for the full lenght. I would love to add a para to the collection. Thanks again for the comment.

i so wish i could get my hands on the full lenght one too, but alas very hard to com by. i would love to do a rhodesian sas fn para and add to my collection but seems the only way is to get it in 7.62 fn as opposed to the 6mm,bb.... so wildcard if you find a few please keep me in mind too, as maybe a bulk order might get the suppliers into importing. have a great weekend

I have been searching the net from A to Z. You just cannot get them anywhere. All the main suppliers abroad are out of stock. Some actually saying it has been discontinued.

Yup. Was for a mate of Slaaibak at Tacticool. Never met the buyer. Sold the KA-FAL about 10 mags and full pat 70 kit, including bayonet.
