"Budget shotgun"

Hi guys.

Also in the market for an O/U shotgun.

I know that proper fit is all important with a shotgun, but assuming all of these fit, which would you recommend:

1. Bettensoli Diamond Omega
2. Fabarm Elos B
3. Lanber (don't know which models are available locally - Pta/Jhb area).

Barrels will probably be 30".

Prices on these are roughly similar at about R14500, which is also the absolute limit of my budget.

I know th Beretta SP1's are very well priced now, but they are still a bit rich for me.

Please could you let me have your opinions if you have knowledge of these guns.

Haven't handled the Lanbar, but had a look at the Bettensoli, and the Fabarm. Both great guns!

The fabarms really are fantastic though, and they'll get my vote

The Fabarm is AWSOME!!! Very well made/finished!

Fabarm and then Betttinsoli would be my recommendation, if you cannot up your budget at all, but for another 4K you get a lot more from the current generation of Beretta SP1, wood to metal fit, finish and general quality is in another league altogether.

I am a little surprised that the Bettinsoli and the Fabarm costs the same, in Europe they are about 20% cheaper, if cost is a big factor the Bettinsoli would then jump to the first choice.
