Poll: Hunting from the back of a bakkie
Following on from this thread: http://www.gunsite.co.za/forums/show...013#post379013
Let's see what the poll says about "bakkie" hunting/shooting (just to keep both camps happy I will use both terms). Bear in mind we are not talking about varminting. We are also not talking about areas where there is no other option (such as the Kalahari). I'm also excluding disabled hunters.

I said shooting. I do it from time to time, but I hunt more often.

I didn't put an end date on this poll. After about a week we will assess the situation.
It is also a "blind poll", the results won't show what you chose unless you post it yourself.

I think to keep it clean lets refrain from any comments. When voting you don't have the option of "My name is" and "I voted for them because".

Re: Poll: Hunting from the back of a bakkie
Once a year I go "shooting " as well, we have a farmer in the Karoo where about 6 or so of us go down and "shoot" 50-60 springbuck. You sit in a fixed position and they drive the herds past and you take your animals..."horses for courses" you will not be able to walk and stalk (Hunt) 50 -60 buck in the Karoo ! So sometimes you hunt and sometimes you need to "shoot"

if it's intended for culling... then it's culling. has to be done as efficiently as possible.
if it's intended for hunting... then it's shooting. no real talent in it.
