Poor service Safari & Outdoor Pretoria

Went past Safari & Outdoor Pta today to pick up some cases and S321. Stood at the counter at the rear of the shop selling the the above, the counter salesmen proceeded to help 2 other people who arrived after me. When they helped another person who came after me, I had the shits. Said out loud "clearly business is so good, clearly they don't need my money". Clerk just gave me a funny look and carried on. Well I then walked out. Will visit VLT or Proshot on monday.

It's a great store but I'm still awaiting the promised call answering my question from last year June.

Bought something else in stead.

I had exactly the same experience there, a few times already. Have had decent service only once or twice.

I don't know how long this thread will last,however I had terrible service twice there,won't be going back soon. Been to hailstorm down the road as well as zimbi books,much better shopping experience .

Sorry to hear about that. I was in there for the first time ever on Saturday and the place was a mad house. Exhausted all the options in my area VLT/Zimbi/Rescomp for extra G23 mags and they were my only option. Must say after all the negativity I've heard I was settings myself up for a fall. Christo helped me and service was exceptional even with the hordes of people. Pricing not bad either.

I've had wonderful service from their Stellenbosch branch...and I've had terrible service from their Stellenbosch branch. Consistency is lacking, but they do have a wide variety of stuff, and for those of us down here in the Cape were variety is a bit lacking they do fill a nice vacuum.

the stellenbosch branch has always been very friendly and professional. the guys go out of their way to keep in touch with people that are waiting.
i'd be there more often if they had AR'ish stuffies there though.

Begining of last year I bought a Nikon mildot riflescope from them. Ordered sunshade and mildot master for the scope. After 2 months no feedback from them, went back again. Back ordered the items again, was promised that they will contact me within 2 weeks. Never got feedback. Ended up importing the mildot master myself and got the sunshade from LA Arms. Zimbi, VLT and Proshot will get my money in the future.
