SKB Shotgun

Hi Guys.

I have a semi-auto SKB shotgun that I inherited from my Dad.

Looks like there is very little info about these guns available. Is there anyone that knows more about them.

Quality, spares, worth ?

I found this on skbshotguns.com, their website is terrible and not updated regularly.

SKB was derived from the Samurai family name SAKABA. The vowels were dropped out of the name to form SKB. The company was formed in the Ibaraki province of Japan in 1855.

A mate of mine has a over and under SKB! He has also tried to find if but not sure if he has come right

I have used a over and under, which is between 15 and 20 years old, but immaculate. The fit, finish and lock-up is excellent. The quality doesn't have to stand back for any mid range gun.

i think Browning uses their manufacturing plant for the Barrels in the SG range.
I shot a O/U and it was very nice.

Some great feedback, thanks guys.
I'm very fond of my gun. Usually draws interest at the range from a few guys.

Hope there is someone out there with more info
