Default Farmer remains positive after 3 attacks; South Africa’s Gandhi

He should be South Africa’s Mahatma Gandhi

"He was also shot in a farm attack in 1994 in Gauteng and the bullet was still lodged in his back. Ten years ago he was also the victim in another farm attack but was not injured."

    At least he has faith
As someone has mention on another tread - there are two things you have to have
    1) Faith - For praying that someone will be able to rescue you and
    2) Hope - so that the person who comes to your rescue has a gun

Never the less - I hope him a speedy recovery

I bet he would feel different if the raped or killed his wife.

    Forget being positive, be proactive.

Article doesn't say anything about whether he was armed or not? He may have had his EDC on him for all we know?

The poisoned dogs should also have been some sort of indication of things to come

I do also think that we should be sensitive to the fact that this was still a traumatic experience, and "as jy dom is moet jy voel" kinda makes light of the guy's ordeal. Nobody should be in a situation where the "need to feel".... because even arming ourselves to the teeth will not guarantee success should the unfortunate day comes, it can merely give us a better fighting chance.
