    these things 'stiff' , bar does not freely spin in them..is a problem.

    I wouldn't worry too much about the stiffness. They will loosen up over time.
    They are self-aligning, but just make sure to align them as best as possible.
    Your motor is definitely powerful enough to drive it. What do you estimate your RPM to be? Around 80rpm?

    Good job though, it looks good.

    Motor rpm is 1325 , with the 160 drum is about 75 with current drive pulleys. I have ordered a drum from sa reloader. not sure of diam, but looks to be about 250mm plus. That will drop it to mid 40's.
